What is PUBG?
PUBG is a player-versus-player game in which up to one hundred players take part in aBattle Royale - a large match in which players must fight to the death until there is only one player or team left standing. Players can join matches alone, in pairs, or small teams of up to four. The last team or player left standing wins the game.
Every player starts the game by parachuting from an airplane to the ground. The game takes place in one of four maps, within an 8 x 8, 6 x 6, or 4 x 4 kilometer area. The airplane will fly over the map on an alternating path at the beginning of the match, as players must choose the optimal time to leave the aircraft and descend to the ground.
Every few minutes, the playable safe area of the map begins to shrink down towards a random location. Any player caught outside the safe area will take damage incrementally and will be eliminated if they are unable to reach the safe area in time. During the course of the match, random regions of the map are highlighted in red and bombed, posing a threat to players who remain in that area.
